Program description
UB is a program for after-school enrichment in a small, engaging, activity-based environment. It is designed for parents who may need some additional time in the day for exercise (Urban Body Fitness is next door!), shopping, classes, personal enrichment, or just a little bit of relaxation. Urban Buddies is not a child care facility, and should not be used to replace traditional forms of childcare for working parents.
Program hours are 1pm to 6pm Monday through Friday.
Homework help and test prep is also available with advance booking.
How it works
Register for the program by clicking the link under "Registration" above. Parents prepay for a block of hours, which can be used anytime during program hours--just let us know in advance when you're coming so that we can be sure our ratios stay nice and low.
You'll be billed monthly for any amount you go over your prepaid hours, or anytime you need a "refill", and you can cancel or change the registration at any time. Your prepaid hours do not expire, but cannot be refunded if unused.
We have no TV or computer time. Kids are engaged in meaningful activities that encourage the exploration of social, musical, artistic, and athletic skills, just to name a few.
All you'll bring is a nut-free snack and water bottle, if needed. A change of clothes is always a good idea for younger participants.
